Only legitimate plugins can send statistics. Fake data is impossible.
Cryptographically secure signatures ensure only authorized plugins can send statistics. Secret tokens are stored securely in the database, never in config files.
Every plugin build has a unique 32-character identifier. Only official builds registered in our system can send statistics, preventing fake plugins.
Only registered plugin versions are allowed. Server owners cannot create fake plugins with arbitrary versions - each version must be approved.
Statistics can only be sent from the registered server IP address. This prevents unauthorized access even if credentials are compromised.
Advanced algorithms detect and block unrealistic statistics. Mathematical consistency checks and historical validation prevent fake data submission.
Requests are validated against timestamps to prevent replay attacks. Only fresh requests within a 30 minute window are accepted.
Even though our plugins are open source, our security system prevents fake statistics. The combination of HMAC signatures, Build ID verification, plugin version whitelisting, IP validation, and anomaly detection creates multiple layers of protection that cannot be bypassed.

No, Statsly is designed to be extremely lightweight. The plugin has minimal impact on server performance, typically using less than 1% of server resources. All data collection happens asynchronously.
